An offices tower with its commercial center

  • Client: Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV)
  • Partner VCC (Vietnam Consultant Joint-Stock Corporation for Industrial and Urban Construction)
  • Height: 126 m
  • Surface: 29 460 m²
  • Study phase: 2007-2008
  • Completion date: 2010
The prime objective of this programme is to design an economic building to house the main branch of the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), along with multiple related facilities.
The 126-metre tall high-rise comprises two simple geometric volumes, namely a 7-stoorey base in local blue-grey granite, from which the glass elevation emerges, and the tower itself, comprising a slim, elliptical, 18-storey tower.
Located in the centre of the site, the building provides total transparency and a climate-controlled atmosphere using sun screen and internal blinds.
