To handle increased traffic at Aix-en-Provence TGV station, AREP has been commissioned to produce the architectural design and act as prime contractor for the construction of an underground car park within the perimeter of the TGV station.
It was decided to construct the car park underground to minimise its impact on the landscape. It will have a 1 100-space capacity on four levels and will also house the service facilities required to operate the site, as well as services currently located inside the station building.
