AREP was part of the MEDEF delegation (France's largest employer federation) at the AfriCities Summit, which was held from 20 to 24 November in Marrakech, Morocco.

The 8th edition of AfriCities, the pan-African flagship event organized by United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLG), focused on the theme "Transition towards sustainable cities and regions: the role of local authorities in Africa".
The delegation, which was led by Gérard WOLF, President of the Sustainable City Task Force within MEDEF's international branch, participated in various conferences, debates and round-table discussions bringing together mayors, development agencies, elected representatives, the French Development Agency (AFD), and financial institutions.
AREP has been carrying out a great number of projects in Morocco, Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire over the past years. Many local representatives, such as the mayors of Mali and Benin, praised our commitment to addressing environmental and transportation challenges in Morocco and West Africa.
