  • 2002 - Competition for Conceptual Design Planning and Deign of Beijing Olympic Green
Beijing Olympic Green Project is a rare opportunity for developing the 1 100 hectares of land in the northern part of Beijing into a symbol rooted in history and looking into the future.
It creates a new bond between the surrounding townships in Beijing and natural landscape (mountains, cultural axis, water and green belt). To demonstrate the three themes of people, nature, and science and technology, these large-scale spaces constitute a sharp contrast in terms of shape and geometric composition. The tenet of the Beijing Olympic Games is to be a human, natural, scientific and technological Olympics, which is vividly shown by the planning of the central area. The geometric composition and spatial planning of the project layout perfectly express these three goals.
