Point of sale - Surface 40 m²

  • Project management: AREP
When the Paris-Milan TGV line was inaugurated, SNCF opened a sales outlet at Garibaldi station facing the platforms from which the SNCF trains depart for Paris.
The brief was to make the first ever sales outlet in the country a high profile showcase for SNCF in Italy.

Face-to-face customer service is vital in Italy and will supplement online sales on the www.tgv-europe.com website, which had been the only outlet until the opening of the store. The store seeks to serve customers and refer them to the website.

It is designed to convey a welcoming and friendly ambience in a floor space of approximately 40 m² in a glazed structure located in a passageway between the station concourse and platform access area.

The interior design utilises the SNCF interior colour schemes and introduces materials such as wood, as well as offering new functions, with mobile passenger service agents helping clients to consider the various options open to them and independent clients being able to check out what SNCF offers on the enquiries screen tables.
