The project fits harmoniously into an urban and natural environment by taking into account the notion of intermodality.
Architecture design concept
The project aims to connect the city and the nature, ensuring that people’s activities will be not cut off by the roads and the residents can travel freely between the city and the nature. The concept of connectivity has generated three axes, including the convenient and effective transportation, rich and colorful city life, natural and comfortable waterfront landscape. Penetration of lifestyle : as the integrated transfer hub of Metro Line 16, Line 18 and Line 29, it also connects with Metro Line 1 through the underground passage.

Urban design concept
The site is located in the ecological zone around Chengdu city in which the green landscape ressources are extremely valuable.
City planning prohibits building big volume in this zone. Nevertheless, the project should be huge and integrate many functions. Good organisation of transport, ventilation and lighting are also needed.
Global design concept therefore includes such aspects: buildings are assimilated into the environment, disappearing in landscape and nature; humanisation and convenience are integrated into one modern commercial building with the transport hub.
