SNCF Gares & Connexions and AREP participated in the Sudoe Stop CO² technical conference on the future of bus and train stations. The event was held on 20 November 2018 at the Arkinova Sustainable Construction Centre in Anglet, France, and brought together experts in the field of building energy management.

Edouard Walther, an AREP energy & thermal comfort consultant and member of the SNCF - SYNAPSES network, Jean-François Thomas (SNCF) and Sandra Ripeau (Carbones 64) discussed the topic "Stations seen as a reflection of planning, energy efficiency and sustainable development challenges" in the morning session. In the afternoon, Edouard and Jerôme Nicolle (Tipee) spoke about "Thermal comfort engineering in complex public spaces".

Co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Sudoe Stop CO² project aims to improve bus and rail stations in South-Western Europe in order both to reduce energy costs and their environmental impact.
