WORKSHOPS IN SUPPORT OF BAHRAIN FRENCH TOWN PLANNING INITIATIVE

Share news
AREP has been involved in the elaboration of Bahrain’s regional development strategy by conceiving “urban guidelines” as part of the Bahrain French Town Planning Initiative.

The goal of this initiative is to provide Bahrain with sustainable development tools in order to assist the Kingdom in meeting social, environmental and economic challenges. Centred
around collaborative work, AREP's thoroughgoing and innovative approach is based on design thinking. It puts forward appropriate tools, previously tested in workshops, that have been
designed to guide project initiators, and to help local town planning services to supervise the various development projects.

In July, AREP's Town Planning department and Menighetti Programmation, an AREP Group affiliate, presented a programming methodology and worked hand in hand on the tools that need to be
implemented. These workshops will run until September 2017.
Workshops organised by Christophe Chevallier, Charles Antoine Depardon, Agnès de Rodellec, Adrien Thomas et Gaëlle Renoncet (AREP's Town Planning department ) and Bruno Reboul (Menighetti Programmation).
